Pablo Mendes
Long story short: I am a PhD Student at Kno.e.sis, Wright State University. From Oct 2010-2012, I worked as a Research Associate at the Freie Universitaet Berlin. I have also worked as an intern at Yahoo! Search in 2008 (California) and Yahoo! Research in 2009 (Barcelona). My specialty is Information Extraction (particularly entity recognition and disambiguation). I am the lead developer of DBpedia Spotlight, among other open source software projects. I also have experience more generally with 'Web stuff' (semantic, linked data, 2.0, ...), Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Big Data and Bioinformatics.
